My name is Paula Kaburia, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Pastor of Women & Families at PCC!
I grew up in the Lower Mainland, though my husband and I come from opposite sides of the world (Kenya and N. Ireland). Along with our three children, we enjoy reading, music, theatre, dance, the outdoors, and all things ‘arts’ related. We’re inspired by travel, and (for Colin and our kids) the challenge of an occasional mountain peak! I completed my studies at SFU and UBC before entering the teaching profession. After 10 years in the ‘classroom’, I sensed God’s leading into vocational ministry. Since transitioning into pastoral ministry, I have served children, women, and families in various Alliance churches.
My family and I are excited to now call PCC our church home! I’m passionate about discipleship and prayer, and I consider it a privilege to journey alongside families as we follow Jesus in Spirit-led community.
