ABOUT US
We are part of a larger group of churches called the Christian & Missionary Alliance Denomination-a young, protestant, evangelical church group begun with a passion to be spiritually alive and vigorously active in the world.
LOCATION
We are located at the south end of 180th Street off of #10 Hwy. Officially, we are in Surrey, but often referred to as Cloverdale! Our church building is a warehouse that was beautifully transformed into a very useable space - a place to worship and a place where we, as a church community, minister to those in need through our Cloverdale Community Kitchen.
OUR ROOTS
Pacific Community Church began in 1991 in what use to be the Cloverdale's Car Museum. From the old museum, we moved into the Cloverdale Recreation Center, then Martha Currie Elementary, and finally here in our renovated Warehouse in 2001.
WHERE WE ARE HEADED
We don't tend to sit in the pew all that long. We believe the church exists for the sake of the world -- meaning that out of our gatherings whether on Sunday morning or in groups through the week, we are being sent into the world as agents of God's blessing in schools, neighbourhoods, workplaces, organizations and wherever he plants us. One of those expressions is the Cloverdale Community Kitchen providing thousands of meals a year, a Food Bank providing groceries weekly, community meals and mobile meals and numerous other efforts to serve the needs in our community.
