As far back as I can remember, I have been involved in church. My parents were Christians and my brothers and I were taught to love God at a very early age. I became a Christian at age 10 and was involved with the youth group, young adults and other ministries of the church. My passion is music, so I was involved with ministry using music as a tool to share with others. As a young adult, I committed myself to serve Christ wherever He would lead me. He led me to Oklahoma Baptist University where I received my Music Education Degree. During university I met my future husband, Mike, and after graduation we were married. We then both attended Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas where we received our Masters degrees. While serving in ministry on a church staff in Texas, we had our three sons. In 1985 Mike & I sensed God calling us to pastor a small church in Delta, BC. We have lived in Surrey ever since and became Canadian citizens in 1996.
As a pastor’s wife, I have been involved with worship teams, children’s ministry, hosting home groups and leading women in Bible studies. As a teacher, I worked in the Learning Support Centre at Pacific Academy for 25 years.
After 12 years of ministry at Peace Portal Alliance in South Surrey, Mike and I joined PCC in 2010. I currently volunteer at CCK and have been involved in Growth Groups here at PCC. My passion is to serve God wholeheartedly in whatever He is asking me to do.
