Hey there! My name is Diane Wong, and I have the privilege of serving the Pacific community as the Youth Pastor. I stepped into this role in the Fall of 2021 after moving back from Colorado, where I was helping with a local church plant. I was born and raised in Coquitlam, British Columbia, and I moved to Los Angeles, California straight out of high school originally to pursue fashion school. I ended up attending Life Pacific University to receive my Bible education, and I went on to earn my Master of Science in Organizational Psychology after that.
Since 2015, my heart and soul has been in youth ministry. I have a deep desire and calling to reach the next generation of young men and women with the gospel and develop faith-filled leaders on fire for Jesus. I started off as a volunteer at a local church in Downtown Los Angeles, devoting 20 hours a week to the ministry, because I understood the importance of investing into the lives of young people. Six years later, I can confidently say that I am just as passionate, if not more, about the ministry. I am so thankful and humbled to be used by God and to build His Church everyday.
I have a deep appreciation for simple pleasures: reading a book, going on a walk, enjoying the sun, eating good food, thrifting with friends, and playing the piano. I still have a love for fashion, and my favourite creative expression is editorial photography. On a typical weekend, you can find me playing board games or playing with dogs.
