In 2014, Julie and I and our two daughters, Aven and Mylah moved into Cloverdale and shortly after joined PCC. It is important to us to be at a church in our community and we appreciate how PCC has and continues to be focused on impacting our community.
From a young age, faith and serving in the church have been a constant in my life. There have been key times where I have experienced the reality of who God is and they have been foundational in my life. Shortly after high school, I completed three semesters at Christ for the Nations. My desire was to learn who I wanted to be when I grow up while being immersed in God’s word and surrounded by people that were like-minded. It’s powerful to be in community where, through the Holy Spirit, people are open to allow others to speak into their life and are brave enough to speak into other people’s lives.
I work with numbers every day as a partner at an international accounting firm. However, I consider myself more as a storyteller. Budgets are boring but it’s exciting to use numbers as a medium to share what God is doing in our lives. It’s been great to be a part of PCC’s journey and I look forward to us as a church discovering where God is leading us next.
In 2009, Julie and I travelled to France, where I discovered real bread; in my spare time you’ll find me baking, trying to recreate that experience. As a family, we love doing track and field events or being on the water paddleboarding together.
