Welcome!
My name is Alex and I am honoured to have the privilege of being Worship Pastor here at Pacific Community Church, a role I stepped into in June 2019 after attending since February. I have had the joy of sharing ministry life with my wife Charlotte since August 2017. We live in Langley where we love to share our desire for hospitality and host friends over a good meal and a board game! I love great music, spicy ethnic food, a good movie, and quality coffee. If you get to know me, you may begin to pick out snippets of my not-so-Canadian accent - I’m originally from England but have been a Permanent Resident of Canada since 1998.
Having led musical worship in numerous capacities over the past 17 years, there’s no surprise it’s at the top of my list of passions. I love to praise our Lord and Saviour in song and I’m excited to provide opportunities for others to do the same. I encourage excellence in both heart and skill (in that order) and desire to journey with people in discovering what that looks like in their lives. I’m passionate about worshipping in every area of life and am excited to see Pacific go deeper in the Lord as we continually give ourselves over to this most noble of tasks.
