Reframing Christmas Traditions

Christmas is affectionately described as “the most wonderful time of the year.” It is a season where many people intentionally engage in traditions to fill their lives with joy and happiness. These Christmas customs have been shaped and influenced by the cultural expressions of our time and context. In light of this, it is wise for us as believers to consider if our approaches to our cherished traditions are primarily informed by a Christ-centered worldview.

Towards this end, during Advent (starting December 1st) we will fix our minds and hearts to “Reframing Christmas Traditions” considering Jesus’ first arrival and His anticipated second coming. We will purposefully examine how a biblical worldview should influence our engagement during the holidays with family, gift-giving, charitable expressions, light displays, and feasting.

We warmly invite you to join us each week as we reframe these beautiful Christmas traditions that make this time of year so special.
