Hello PCC! Thank you so much for the love, support, and prayer over the past few months. As you know, my surgery was extremely successful, and some of my taste and smell has already come back, which is a huge answer to prayer.

Right now, I am working with a counsellor at BC cancer who is helping me process and heal psychologically, and she says that I am experiencing what’s called “survivor crisis”. You can imagine how life altering this diagnosis has been for me, especially at the ripe age of 27, and I haven’t been able to focus on my mental and emotional well being until now. I am working hard to re-stabilize my life, re-evaluate my priorities, and find joy again after months of facing really hard things.

I can’t wait to share with you all how this experience has shaped me, but for now - I hope you are convinced that prayer is powerful and that miracles still happen today. It’s not everyday that someone beats cancer this quickly and finds so much favour in the medical system. I really and strongly believe that God had everything to do with that. Be encouraged that your petitions and intercession are not in vain, but God hears us and He still moves today. Depending on how I am recovering, I will be ready to come back to church sometime after spring break.
