SUNDAYS LIVESTREAMING
Hello Pacific! Dr. Ross Hastings will be preaching tomorrow on Psalm 20! This powerful Psalm is well worth a pre-read to help get our hearts ready to hear the message that God has laid on Ross' heart. A very fitting Psalm for this journey through Covid that we are all experiencing! READ PSALM 20 HERE. Thanks to our media/tech team who worked very hard to resolve the issue with our online service last week - they got us up and running! The issue we had has now been resolved so we are praying that this week will go smoothly! We will be livestreaming beginning at 9:45 (official service time starts at 10 AM). Jordan & Brittany Pousett will be hosting the service - be sure to say hello in the chatroom! The link to the Church Online service is below. For more infomation visit:

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME BEGINS THIS SUNDAY!
Spring is just around the corner so it's that time of year where we get to SPRING FORWARD (and, sadly, lose an entire hour of precious sleep)! Please remember to set your clocks forward before you go to bed on Saturday night (March 13th) and then we will see you at the new 10 AM daylight savings time for our Sundays Livestreaming! |
SUNDAYS LIVE
Hello Pacific! We have all been eagerly awaiting the day when we can return to in-person gatherings. On March 8, 2021, Dr. Henry noted that she intends to allow for a modified return to in-person faith gatherings by Easter. While there is no set date nor guidelines for reopening at this point, the District Office has encouraged us to plan for the potential of a reopening while recognizing there may be ongoing restrictions on gatherings. Please stay tuned! As we receive additional information, we will pass it on to you. Once the in-person gatherings have been approved, we will send out a link for you to sign up for the services. If you have any questions please contact Joan. |
FINANCIAL UPDATE
Our budget year goes from September to August. The link below will take you to our website where we have a thumbnail sketch of how we are tracking. These numbers reflect the General and Missional fund budgets but do not include the CCK numbers. Feel free to contact Dave Stinchcombe, the Board Treasurer, for more detail. GIVING
THANK YOU so much for your ongoing support! Your generosity has been so very much appreciated! Most of you have switched over to ONLINE GIVING ... but for those who prefer to give through cheques, you are still able to do so by dropping the cheque off at the office or mailing it in to us. Again, thank you for your faithful gifts in support of Pacific and the Cloverdale Community Kitchen! We are able to do ministry in a whole new way because of your love and support! Together we continue to make a difference in our community!

C&MA ConnectionSLIPPAGE | By David Hearn In an effort to combat the COVID-19 blues, Agnes and I have taken up a new pastime – hiking. We discovered that the trails near our home lead to breathtaking landscapes. Our eldest daughter and son-in-law, who are adventurers at heart, often serve as the spark that inspires Agnes and me to set out on a wilderness trek. It also doesn’t hurt that hiking is an opportunity for us to spend time with our grandkids while staying within current COVID-related restrictions. For more infomation visit:

Growth Groups
Here at Pacific we are committed to providing avenues for every person in our church to connect with others. One of the primary ways that we aim to provide means for connection to occur organically is through Growth Groups, which are small groups that help us grow in Christ and in community with each other. Our Growth Groups will have Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks and to ensure that all people at PCC have the tremendous opportunity to connect with each other, we need both group leaders and hosts. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Pastor Prince at Pastor Prince's Email or register here to lead or host a group! |
