Christmas at PacificWord Made Flesh This advent season, we will be intentionally reflecting on the wonderful truth that “The Word Became Flesh.” John 1:14 is one of the most important verses in the Bible. It reads, “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” The eternal Word, who is Jesus, willingly left the heavenly realm and took on human flesh to tabernacle (dwell) among us. In so doing, Jesus revealed His radiant and transcendent glory to us. The Word humbled Himself by taking on the form of His creation to redeem us from our sinful brokenness and to reconcile us to God through Himself. This glorious truth is worthy of our worship, praise, and wonder. With this in mind, we invite you to join us each Sunday during Advent (starting December 3rd) as we fix our minds, hearts, spirits, and bodies to consider the love, peace, joy, and hope that is offered to us through the “Word Made Flesh.” Love – December 3 Christmas Eve - December 24th / 4 PM For more infomation visit:

PCC USaturday, November 25th Stemming from our desire to grow near to Jesus and to grow in faith as his disciples, our upcoming PCC U course is a Blanket Exercise with John Johnstone. Join us this Saturday, November 25th from 9am-10:30am here at the church! A light continental breakfast will be provided. During this powerful and life transformative event, we will have the opportunity to participate in an "exercise" that covers more than 500 years in a 90-minute experiential workshop that aims to foster understanding about our shared history as Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. The Blanket Exercise will offer participants the opportunity to walk on blankets representing the land and into the role of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples by reading scrolls and carrying cards which ultimately determine their outcome as they literally ‘walk’ through situations that include pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance. RIGHTNOW MEDIAWhat the Women Saw Do women matter to the kingdom of God? Jesus was surrounded by both men and women during his ministry on earth. He saw, valued, and cared for women, and he still does today. Each one of us has a significant role.
Through this six-session study, you will discover who Jesus is through the unique perspective of women in the Bible. As you study the lives of Mary, Martha, Mary Magdalene and others, you will learn from their faith and failures and be reminded that Jesus cared for and valued the women he was surrounded by. He equipped them, listened to them, walked with them, healed them, and empowered them. And he does the same for you now.
