PCC Final Hike of 2025 – Frosty Mountain / Larches

Date & Time: Saturday, October 4th – 8:00 AM
Location: Manning Park – Frosty Mountain (Lightning Lake parking lot – [pin here])
Travel: 4+ hours round trip. Carpooling may be available.

Hike Details

Distance: ~20 km
Elevation Gain: 1600+ m
Difficulty: Moderate+ / Hard
Estimated Time: ~5 hours hiking (plus travel)

Important Notes

This hike is weather dependent – final confirmation will be sent closer to the date.
BC regulations: Snow tires are required in October.

Bring:
Layers (temps can vary)
Plenty of water + food/snacks
